| To Be Worldwide | ||
To Be Worldwide is an organisation that develops sustainable educational facilities. Such facilities contain a (children’s) library, an activity program and an ICT Lab, vital for users to acquire necessary ICT skills needed to thrive in the current ICT driven economy. Educational Resource Centres as these facilities are called, operate complementary to existing school systems in developing countries. “We enable children to learn using their theoretical knowledge in a practical and creative environment and stimulate skills not initially addressed by the regular school system but necessary for better chances in the labour market. This we feel will help children achieve their full potential so that later they can help build their communities.” To be Worldwide is currently undergoing formal registrations to extend the operations that are so far creating a great impact in Ghana to Kenya. Lessons learnt and good practices will be used to develop the Kenya chapter. |
